Dinner on the cruise was truly wonderful. The view of the river and Bangkok at night is so beautiful. The food is a bit bad, but the scenery is beautiful. You should book early on Klook to get a nice table near the bow and on the open deck. Get your boarding pass on the B1 floor right near the food court. You should experience this cruise when you come to Thailand.
Food was cold and finished quickly. A crowd of people storms past the buffet. You often miss the fun parts of the tour. The price is way too expensive.
I left from Icon Siam at approximately 5:30 or 6. You will be on the ground floor in an office for them to give you tickets. You will put a patch on your chest and start at 7.30. The wait is a little long, but the boredom will disappear once you board the cruise. It was the most beautiful experience in Bangkok. If I return to Bangkok, I will repeat it. During the trip, it was a beautiful rain that was not worrisome and enjoyable at the same time. My wife and I were located on the edge. I mean, we got wet a couple of times, but we were enjoying ourselves because we are from a country that does not have much rain. The food was varied and beautiful, and then the songs and dances from those present were a wonderful experience more than imagination. I recommend everyone to try
This dinner cruise was a wonderful experience. We selected this particular one after considering the positive reviews and it was definitely worth it! The table arrangements were good, good live music and dance, food options were plenty, drinks were available too. The cruise went around one complete round and a half so we got enough time to eat, drink and enjoy the beautiful view. Would definitely recommend this to others.
This is one of the best experiences you can have at icon siam. Ground and upper floor cruise. 2 hour cruise ride with dinner. Delicious food buffet. Two ships. They arrange a table with a specific number to us with the ticket.Singing, dancing, eating, and watching the beauty of city tours. Helpful stuff. You can get the drink items by additional paying with 10%service charge. Also, have a photo service before on board to the ship. That should be improved. Other than that, good experience to see the bangkok beauty.
The river cruise was awesome with a grand buffet dinner on the Chao phrasal River. You can scintillating Bangkok sky online. It takes about 2 hours for the full cruise with DJ music. Must see when you're in Bangkok
This cruise is an experience in itself. It is about 2 hrs when the cruise goes up and down the river. They serve food and alcohol depending on the package that we have chosen. The alcohol can be brought on deck if not included in the package. The staff are very cooperative and helpful with genuine requests. The cruise is usually on time and we must be there before time to ensure we don't miss the cruise. We need to get there and collect our tickets from the pier and ensure the same is distributed amongst all the guests. There is a DJ onboard who will usually play music to our choice. The toilets in the cruise are clean and tidy.
We went as a family with 3 children. It was a fun experience. The entertainment on the boat was great. The food is average in my opinion but this is something I was expecting when booking the cruise. The staff is very friendly and fun. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, I would suggest you book another cruise as this is more for groups of friends and families to enjoy a fun time on the river.
Beautiful cruising experience with delicious food and music. It's fun. Kind of party cruise with music , dancing, great views but yes almost with all Indian tourists so feels like some updates cruise in Goa. They have vegetarian and non vegetarian food options. Don't stand In the queue when the dinner starts, you can wait once everyone finishes to take their first round and later you can go for food. It will be sufficient. Enjoy the beautiful views from the cruise. If youre ticket is of upper deck which is open and it's hot there but the views are amazing. Still you can go down to the AC room. And vice versa, on both the decks there will be live music and dancing and food.
An Amazing Indian Buffet Cruise Experience on the Chao Phraya PrincessI recently had the pleasure of enjoying my first cruise dinner experience on the Chao Phraya Princess, and I opted for the Indian buffet cruise. I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. As I boarded the cruise, I was immediately captivated by its elegant and luxurious ambiance. The staff warmly greeted me and guided me to my table, which had a perfect view of the breathtaking Chao Phraya River. The setting was romantic and enchanting, setting the stage for a memorable evening.Being an Indian food enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover that the Chao Phraya Princess offered a separate cruise specifically dedicated to Indian cuisine. The buffet spread was an absolute feast for the senses. It showcased a wide variety of delectable Indian dishes, each prepared with utmost care and authenticity. The Indian buffet cruise truly catered to every palate, offering an extensive range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. From aromatic biryanis and flavorful curries to tandoori delights and mouthwatering desserts, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, ensuring a memorable gastronomic experience. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. They ensured that all guests felt comfortable and had everything they needed to make their evening exceptional. The entertainment on board was another highlight of the Indian buffet cruise. As I indulged in the sumptuous meal, I was treated to a captivating performance of traditional Indian music and dance. The talented artists brought the vibrant culture of India to life, adding an extra layer of charm to the overall experience.Throughout the cruise, the scenic beauty of the Chao Phraya River served as a picturesque backdrop. The stunning views of iconic landmarks such as the Temple of Dawn and the Grand Palace enhanced the enchanting atmosphere, making it a feast for the eyes as well.**In conclusion, my first cruise dinner experience on the Chao Phraya Princess, specifically the Indian buffet cruise, was nothing short of amazing. The combination of delectable Indian cuisine, exceptional service, mesmerizing entertainment, and breathtaking views made it a truly memorable evening. Whether you're an Indian food lover or simply looking for a unique dining experience, I highly recommend embarking on this delightful cruise.**
It was an incredible experience! We purchased tickets online on the same day for $35 per person. The check-in process was fast. However, we were disappointed when the departure was delayed by 20 minutes. We were seated on the bottom floor, in three rows of tables at varying distances from the window. Unfortunately, we didn't have the option to choose our seats, and it was disheartening to realize that we weren't seated close to the window. However, we could go to the deck at the bow, which provided a wonderful view of the river and the cities. There was a wide variety of food available, ensuring that nobody would go hungry. The quality of the food was excellent, ranging from fruits and sushi to side dishes, meat, and fish. You could find anything you wanted. The staff was friendly, and the musicians and singers were enjoyable. After the journey, the staff suggested buying photos that were taken before the trip, and they were truly amusing. I have nothing but fond memories from this experience.
It is dinner on a river cruise, and overall it is of around 2 hours, may be less. I didn't really check time while on it. They know most of the crowd being Indian, they did play nice Indian music in various Indian languages and that, made all very happy. Live performances were also nice. Indian food, (I am vegetarian) was also very tasty. Loved the timeb there. Given a chance I would definitely repeat the experience!
We had a great time on the Chao Phraya PrincessBooked direct with the operator and they gave us our request for the upper deck with seats by the side of the boat for the best views. Check in was easy at the Icon Siam and it was well organised.Buffet was nice, lots of seafood and Thai dishes and there was more than enough food. Extensive bar menu with cocktails and beer (you have to pay for drinks, 210 baht for cocktails and 140 baht for beer)The band and DJ were fun and there was a good atmosphere on the boat, everybody looked like they were having a great time on the upper deck. You definitely want to sit on the upper deck, it did not look as fun for those sat downstairs in the indoor area.Overall, I would recommend this trip.
The cruise very new and stunning. It coming with welcome saxophone music that make me so impressed. There are so many tourists in December so the cruise seem very crowded. There is a music band with a singer. But at some point I would prefer relaxing and soft music so I could enjoy the view of Bangkok city along Chao Praya River with my dinner peacefully. But in that day a bit crowded and noisy. I couldn’t enjoy much.
It's a great cruise experience with the Chao Phraya river lit on both sides with beautiful lighting. They have two options for buffet, Indiana and International. If you're Indian and want a classy and peaceful cruise do not go for the Indian buffet as it will have the rowdy DJs like we have in India too much loud music and crowd dancing right beside your table and all over the cruise. We tried both Indian and international, international buffet is highly recommended very peaceful experience enjoying the breeze and food with a view.
Chao Phraya Princess is the perfect way to start your Thailand tripWhat's better than a dinner cruise along the river to start your trip with. When we came across the Chao Phraya Princess dinner cruise, we knew we had to do it and that too on our first day in Bangkok. We were traveling with our parents to Thailand and planned the dinner cruise as a surprise for them. After boarding, Chao Phraya Princess took us to a 2 hour ride of the river and we experienced Thai history and heritage on both sides of the river. They keep you entertained throughout the journey with welcome drinks, plenty of food, and music followed by dance. Bangkok is known for its vibrant night life, beautiful temples and historical landmarks. We experienced the beauty of both from the cruise. The food was nice and there were plenty of Indian vegetarian options for us. It was a memorable journey for our parents as well.It is a perfect romantic setup if you are traveling with your partner.
With a half-hour delay and a boarding that took quite a long time due to the crowds, the boat tour started and lasted just under two hours. The trip with live music was interesting and varied due to the buildings and temples worth seeing on the riverbank and the other boats on the river. The buffet dinner was rich and varied without long waiting times. The service team was friendly, quick and helpful.
It was a memorable experience on our trip to Bangkok. They usually have two options "Indian food" and "International " while choosing your cruise. We chose International food.It was raining that day but we still managed to go outside the deck for the view which was spectacular. The trip was for 2 hrs where you get unlimited food and lovely site seeing of Chao phraya river.Food was delicious in taste and they had too many options. Over all it was a nice experience and must try thing if you are in Bangkok.
An amazing experience. Only wish they had been actual songs instead of the singer, with full appreciation for her effort in singing hindi songs, it wasn't just that good. But still the music, along with river breeze made everyone come to the dance floor. The food was also nice.Visited in 2018. So, please consider based on that.
Been on their cruise twice already. Both times had great seats and experience. This cruise caters Vegans. They gave set menu for vegans which made the experience even more memorable.
Dinner cruise at night. The band was entertaining. We enjoyed unlimited shrimps, fresh fruits. Every one has enough time to enjoy the food and scenery at night. Decorated lights at the riversides. This is a must experience in Bangkok. - July 2019
