It was an incredible experience! We purchased tickets online on the same day for $35 per person. The check-in process was fast. However, we were disappointed when the departure was delayed by 20 minutes. We were seated on the bottom floor, in three rows of tables at varying distances from the window. Unfortunately, we didn't have the option to choose our seats, and it was disheartening to realize that we weren't seated close to the window. However, we could go to the deck at the bow, which provided a wonderful view of the river and the cities. There was a wide variety of food available, ensuring that nobody would go hungry. The quality of the food was excellent, ranging from fruits and sushi to side dishes, meat, and fish. You could find anything you wanted. The staff was friendly, and the musicians and singers were enjoyable. After the journey, the staff suggested buying photos that were taken before the trip, and they were truly amusing. I have nothing but fond memories from this experience.
It is dinner on a river cruise, and overall it is of around 2 hours, may be less. I didn't really check time while on it. They know most of the crowd being Indian, they did play nice Indian music in various Indian languages and that, made all very happy. Live performances were also nice. Indian food, (I am vegetarian) was also very tasty. Loved the timeb there. Given a chance I would definitely repeat the experience!
We had a great time on the Chao Phraya PrincessBooked direct with the operator and they gave us our request for the upper deck with seats by the side of the boat for the best views. Check in was easy at the Icon Siam and it was well organised.Buffet was nice, lots of seafood and Thai dishes and there was more than enough food. Extensive bar menu with cocktails and beer (you have to pay for drinks, 210 baht for cocktails and 140 baht for beer)The band and DJ were fun and there was a good atmosphere on the boat, everybody looked like they were having a great time on the upper deck. You definitely want to sit on the upper deck, it did not look as fun for those sat downstairs in the indoor area.Overall, I would recommend this trip.
The cruise very new and stunning. It coming with welcome saxophone music that make me so impressed. There are so many tourists in December so the cruise seem very crowded. There is a music band with a singer. But at some point I would prefer relaxing and soft music so I could enjoy the view of Bangkok city along Chao Praya River with my dinner peacefully. But in that day a bit crowded and noisy. I couldn’t enjoy much.
It's a great cruise experience with the Chao Phraya river lit on both sides with beautiful lighting. They have two options for buffet, Indiana and International. If you're Indian and want a classy and peaceful cruise do not go for the Indian buffet as it will have the rowdy DJs like we have in India too much loud music and crowd dancing right beside your table and all over the cruise. We tried both Indian and international, international buffet is highly recommended very peaceful experience enjoying the breeze and food with a view.
Chao Phraya Princess is the perfect way to start your Thailand tripWhat's better than a dinner cruise along the river to start your trip with. When we came across the Chao Phraya Princess dinner cruise, we knew we had to do it and that too on our first day in Bangkok. We were traveling with our parents to Thailand and planned the dinner cruise as a surprise for them. After boarding, Chao Phraya Princess took us to a 2 hour ride of the river and we experienced Thai history and heritage on both sides of the river. They keep you entertained throughout the journey with welcome drinks, plenty of food, and music followed by dance. Bangkok is known for its vibrant night life, beautiful temples and historical landmarks. We experienced the beauty of both from the cruise. The food was nice and there were plenty of Indian vegetarian options for us. It was a memorable journey for our parents as well.It is a perfect romantic setup if you are traveling with your partner.
With a half-hour delay and a boarding that took quite a long time due to the crowds, the boat tour started and lasted just under two hours. The trip with live music was interesting and varied due to the buildings and temples worth seeing on the riverbank and the other boats on the river. The buffet dinner was rich and varied without long waiting times. The service team was friendly, quick and helpful.
It was a memorable experience on our trip to Bangkok. They usually have two options "Indian food" and "International " while choosing your cruise. We chose International food.It was raining that day but we still managed to go outside the deck for the view which was spectacular. The trip was for 2 hrs where you get unlimited food and lovely site seeing of Chao phraya river.Food was delicious in taste and they had too many options. Over all it was a nice experience and must try thing if you are in Bangkok.
An amazing experience. Only wish they had been actual songs instead of the singer, with full appreciation for her effort in singing hindi songs, it wasn't just that good. But still the music, along with river breeze made everyone come to the dance floor. The food was also nice.Visited in 2018. So, please consider based on that.
Been on their cruise twice already. Both times had great seats and experience. This cruise caters Vegans. They gave set menu for vegans which made the experience even more memorable.
Dinner cruise at night. The band was entertaining. We enjoyed unlimited shrimps, fresh fruits. Every one has enough time to enjoy the food and scenery at night. Decorated lights at the riversides. This is a must experience in Bangkok. - July 2019
